Camp 2026
Session 1: July 10-19
Session 2: July 23-August 2

Join us in providing these children with fun and exciting activities, while offering opportunities for new friendships and personal growth! Priority is given to staff who can attend all training days and all camp sessions. In-person staff training is July 7th-9th.

Camp Counselors

Responsibilities:
- 
Live in a cabin with 6 - 10 campers and one other counselor
- Facilitate Cabin Clean Up and Rest Time each day
- Ensure campers are maintaining appropriate hygiene (showering, brushing teeth, etc)
- Participate and provide oversight during camp activities
- Plan and lead daily recreational activities for groups of 8 - 15 campers

Head Cook

Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare meals for up to 75 people per meal
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff
- Control inventory and order food for meals​


Supervising Clinician

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate and collaborate with the Clinical Director prior to camp to plan Student Clinician training.
  • Lead at least one virtual, Student Clinician specific training prior to camp.
  • Coordinate with the University program about supervision requirements prior to camp.
  • Arrive on-site with the camp Leadership Team (3 days prior to the start of camp); Participate in Camp Leadership meetings throughout camp as deemed necessary
Qualifications
  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Oregon
  • Current first aid/CPR certification​​

Cabin Counselor Leader 

Responsibilities:
- Help the Camp Director recruit, interview, and hire Counselors
- Train staff on cabin procedures
- Support counselors and campers during cabin times
- Participate and provide oversight during camp activities

Kitchen Support Staff

Responsibilities:
- Work with the Head Cook to prepare meals
- Assist with setting the Dining Hall for meals
- Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen
- Assist in maintenance of kitchen inventory​

Camp Nurse

Responsibilities:
- Provide staff training on health/safety procedures 
- Conduct health screeners for arriving campers and staff
- Organize camper medications and dispensing instructions
- Administer medication and treatment to campers
- Monitor &  assist with the health and hygiene needs of campers

Requirements:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon
- Current first aid/CPR certification​
