2022 Memorial Day Work Weekend
May 27 - May 30
Each year hundreds of volunteers come to Camp Meadowood Springs to ensure everything is ready for the upcoming summer. There are a variety of both indoor and outdoor projects, so all ages and ability levels are able to participate. The weekend is full of hard work and fun!
If you're coming to the Memorial Day Work Weekend as a group (ie, as an Elk's Lodge, a youth group, Scouts troop) please register for your group's project ahead of time. This helps us know which of our bigger projects will be taken care of during the Work Weekend.
Reserve a Cabin or Camper Site
Volunteers are welcome to stay on-site during the work weekend at no cost. There are spaces to park campers and motor homes. There are cabins that sleep from 2 to 8 people. To make a reservation, contact Bob Kennedy or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Include you name, contact number, the size of your group, and which nights you plan to stay.
Food During the Work Weekend
The Gateway Gresham Elk Lodge provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday and Sunday and breakfast on Monday. There is a special dinner on Sunday night, included in the 7-meal package. The price for the 7 meals is usually around $30 per person. Friday night there are burgers or hot dogs available at a separate cost.
