The role of the board of directors
Our Board of Directors operates as a strategic planning board for Camp Meadowood Springs. The Board is responsible for discerning and implementing the vision of the camp. The camp staff is responsible for the day-to-day management of the camp while the Board of Directors organizes operational plans.
Board members are expected to be supporters and advocates for Camp Meadowood Springs. They are expected to attend 6 board meetings a year. They are also encouraged to be involved in camp events outside of these meetings. These can include fundraising activities, work days, and/or visiting camp during the summer.
The application process includes an application, interview, and review of references. Board members are elected for a three-year term.
