Qualifications:
- Master’s
Degree in Speech Pathology.

copy)
- No
work experience is necessary since obtaining Masters.
- Bias
toward a behavioral management approach.
- Clinician
1's must live in housing provided by I.R.R.R., Inc. during
the camp session at the Meadowood Springs Speech and Hearing
Camp.
Responsibilities:
The
individual who fills this position
will become an employee
of I.R.R.R., Inc. sponsors of Meadowood
Springs Speech and Hearing
Camp. He/She shall be responsible
to their direct
supervisors and the Board of Directors
of I.R.R.R., Inc. It shall
be understood that the employee
has a duty to see that
the policies of I.R.R.R., Inc.
are maintained as they relate
to the employee’s area of responsibility.
- Determine
and carry out an effective therapy program based upon parent
interview and diagnostic information. Review camper files
and take notes for your caseload. Plan and implement therapy
for small group sessions and during activities. Network
with living unit staff to establish camper needs, concerns
and goals.
- Assume
the leadership for all therapy in your caseload, set individual
goals and make grid cards .
- Be
with all campers from breakfast through evening activities,
except F.O.B.
- Prepare lesson
plans, log notes and clinical
reports for your caseload in
a timely manner.
- Be
responsible for all equipment used in therapy and return
in good order at the close of each session.
- Conduct
entrance and exit interviews with the parents of each camper
upon the completion of the session with your supervisor.
Prepare carryover therapy activities packet for exit interview
with parent.
- Responsible
for keeping all camper records in locked file, or destroying/shredding
same.
- Other
miscellaneous responsibilities include planning night activities,
spotting at the swimming pool and assist living unit staff
as needed with campers.
- Responsible
to the Clinical Director.
These
are not the only duties to be performed. Some
duties may be reassigned and other
duties may be assigned as required.
This
