Meadowood Springs is a unique camp set in the Blue Mountains
of Eastern Oregon that can meet your needs for conferences,
retreats or just a fun time. The rental program features several
sizes of buildings to accommodate most groups.
The camp is situated 45 minutes
from Pendleton, Oregon, near the Tollgate Recreational area
of the Umatilla National Forest (just 12 miles northeast of
Weston, Oregon), within a day’s drive of many locations in
the Northwest.
Set within a 143-acre
woodland, there is access to many recreational activities
such as nature walks, hiking, fishing, and swimming. Snowmobiling,
sledding, dog sledding, downhill and cross-country skiing
are activities which can be enjoyed during the winter months.
The forested grounds include a small lake and scenic meadows.
Mountains, trees, wild flowers, wildlife and water make the
camp and surrounding scenery a photographer's delight. Bring
lots of film.
The Umatilla Lodge
is an elegantly large haven for conferences, dining, retreats
and encounters for groups up to 150. The Lodge is equipped
with a commercial kitchen. A fireplace, loft, piano and electric
heat make this building friendly and inviting.
Bannock Lodge has
a cozy atmosphere for groups up to 30. With a wood
stove, electric heat and modern kitchen facility, this building
extends the casual mountain lifestyle to the indoors. Bannock
Lodge provides bunks for up to 17 people.
Meadowood has swimming and
wading pools, a small man-made lake for canoeing, many small
cabins and three large A-frames which are available during
the warm months. All cabins are rustic in nature and do not
have bathrooms, but do have electric heat. Bathrooms and shower
areas are centrally located to all cabins. Whether you are
interested in using a single building or the entire Camp,
there is something at Meadowood to meet your needs.
